Containment, culture and video games!
Good morning, everyone,
We’re getting into the confined days for most of us, with more or less clear horizons of return to normal… so, once again, I’m going out of the “pure” line of this site to evoke with you a very great video game title : Assassin’s Creed.
Connoisseurs will have already noticed the name Altair. It’s the first character of the series. And yes, we did it on purpose.
Today, I propose a detour to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – or an immersion in Ancient Greece.
And this game has thought of everything – or more exactly of everyone: even if you’re not a player, even if you have no desire to fight against mercenaries, against Cyclops, against everything that Ancient Greece produced of heroes – you can still take advantage of the Hercules work that was done to restore Greece.
So there’s a “game mode” that offers you endless guided tours – The Discovery Tour – and that’s just magic. The link on IGN can help you get an idea.
And if you have in mind that sailors sing… in Ancient Greek, you will have found a small island of happiness in our present day “Plato’s Cave” world!
This is not to incite you to buy the game, of course. You can start by admiring the various videos posted on Youtube that explain the work of Ubisoft’s developers… 🙂
