The Mystery Blogger

I don’t know what you think about it, but for me, a title like: Mystery Blogger, it makes me dream.
If you wanted me to go after Sherlock Holmes, that’s what you should have told me about.
And if I’m the one who becomes the “mystery blogger”, then I apologize, but I’ve changed my category.
I’m not far from the secret agents in service for the crown, the security of the United States or René Coty if you want me to stay French.
And now Atul offers me this title. Not only was I “outstanding“, but I also find myself “mystery“. So, you see, I’m proud. Well….

Atul, I’m not going to tell you he’s a great guy and please go read his articles. No. I say : Go. – No please, no lili, no lala, – Simply : Go.
Yes, you have to read his articles. What he writes is literally major if you want to understand something about India. If you want to understand something about the relationship between religions and especially the Muslim religion. His articles are long, well-researched and well-documented.
And moreover, after that, he discusses with you in the commentaries.

So he goes far beyond the nice common things, he is really one of the people whose work is important for world peace. His site is called : The Justice Mirror, a mirror on Law, Religion and Polity.

And what amazed me was that he asked such joyful questions.
So I answered his questions…

How are you doing? : I feel in a very strange state. Maybe it’s because I’m currently in the middle of a fight with myself. I think I’m going to win in the end. My heart always wins – even when it hurts.

Name three good things that happened to you in the past few days : I must confess, without flattery, that being nominated for two awards in quick succession has done me a lot of good. Then I managed to finish one of my walls: it’s absolutely too beautiful. Finally, my shy little cat managed, for the first time in her life – she is 8 years old – , to climb my tree and get out of my little garden: I was very, very, proud of her.

What is the funniest incident you encountered recently ? It’s a scene I saw at the beach a few days ago. There was a couple next to me – they’d planted an umbrella.
The woman couldn’t swim very well.
The guy was barely better.
There they were both in the water – and as they were talking very loudly, I don’t know, I looked.

The lady “drowned”, the gentleman supported her as best he could (I must say that the lady was a bit too … …strong? …for the gentleman, who was rather small and thin). Nothing’s wrong anymore, they both drink the cup. Fortunately, he had taken a small pool board, which he slipped under his wife’s belly. Here it is, floating strangely. The man comes out of the water – she stays.
And then… she more or less starts to move forward.
She shouts: I’m swimming!
He encourages her noisily
She asks: now where do I go? – and she starts panicking and screaming.
So he, manly and protective: – Swim parallel to the umbrella!

The poor lady was so amazed that she lost her little board, stopped swimming, sank. I won’t be able to describe to you all the stupefaction on her face when she heard that impossible order, but it was an incredible expression.

I didn’t laugh. I promise you, I managed not to laugh. And yet, the distress in her eyes while she didn’t understand… it was very hard not to laugh. Especially since I know this beach very well: even a child can’t drown on it.

Obviously, the end was happy : she realized that she could get up with water only up to her waist.

I have to say that I was not expecting at all the: “swim parallel to the umbrella”.
This guy wowed the whole beach in one sentence.

The best food that you ate recently. do I have the right to say it’s an old rum arranged with exotic fruits? A pure pleasure of life. I’m sorry.

How do you bring joy to your personal relationships? I think I’m still very childish and I laugh very, very fast…

What is your best quote? It’s a roundabout quote -roundabout by me – from the video game Civilization IV: “I am Osimandias, the King of Kings. Contemplate my work and despair.” The King does not talk to God – the pretentious one – but to me: and that amuses me. For example, when I look at my second wall, which is a pure catastrophe that I can’t fix at all, I say to myself that and it makes me laugh a lot. I use it so that I don’t take myself seriously.

Here I am looking for questions to ask.
It’s not an easy exercise at all. Here’s what I found.

  • If you were a color, which one would you choose?
  • What’s your favorite smell?
  • Which movie character would you have liked to be?
  • What do you do when you are angry?
  • What is so mysterious about you?
  • Do you like mysteries?

And here are a few names of people to whom I would like to give these two awards: the Mystery Blogger Award and the Original Outstanding Award. That way, if they have time to respond, we can get to know them a little better.

I can’t name everyone I like. I’ve tried to name the ones that I think are present on the net this month (anyway) and that are mysterious and/or unbelievable.

  4. This is such an amazing post Barbara. I have seen very few bloggers respond to awards so beautifully.
    And thank you so much for the nomination. I haven’t responded to any award for the past few months but I might make an exception to this. BTW I too am rather busy but I always find time for people I love 💕 🤗

    1. So… but don’t give me too many compliments, then I’ll rest on my laurels! As for these little questions, yes if you have time… the question about the smell is the one that seems to me the most “true” and personal… / For the lessons… don’t worry, I earn money with lessons of French ( the show business in Perpignan…. well, it’s for the fun & pleasure ! ) – so I have a lot of “work for babies” 🙂

              1. Some other smells/fragrances are: rose, Jasmine, coffee (though coffee is not my cup of tea but I love its smell), freshly brewed tea and freshly baked cakes… a few others are very personal 💖😊

Vous avez une façon tout à fait unique de vous exprimer jeter dans un peu d’humour ici et là. La confiance ! Oui, la confiance est juste à un autre niveau, l’un des rares que j’ai rencontrés. Et merci pour votre soutien sur la façon que j’ai choisie de développer Altair – comme nous sommes dans l’Entertainment, il me semblait légitime d’alléger le ton.
