Programming / Music – Piracy
Are you blaming me?
Yes, for once, a fashionable title ‘on the hot’.
Yes but yes but okay – but look at the pretty version made by this girl : she is fantastic, terrific, wonderful, great – géniale, top, extravagante
And then frankly – here is a song totally in my theme of the sea, not the sea of the tourists, no the terrifying sea of the sailors of the north, the one that gave birth to Moby Dick and The Sea Wolf, the one of the whalers, the one of those sailors who had their fingers frozen on the rail – the epic sea that we fought with all our strength and when we didn’t have any more, and when we had no strength left, we put it back in, with songs to forget the pain of the moment, songs that tell us that soon it will all end, we will have rum and sugar, songs for courage –

And that’s why you have to love music and songs – while you’re singing, at the worst of the adventure, you’re still a little happy –
So, as you can see, with the Wellerman, I’m getting back into my great sea shows, and into these great games that the sea has given us to imagine – I admit that I’m still a bit far away and the Cape of Good Hope is still not in sight.
Soon may the Wellerman come
To bring us sugar and tea and rum
One day, when the tonguin’ is done
We’ll take our leave and go
It doesn’t matter, the sea song accompanies me – isn’t this young girl very talented?
Moreover, she has in her repertoire almost all the great songs of the great video games.
From there to inviting her to sing marine and adventure songs, there is only a tiny space that we will have to cross one day.
In the meantime? A little bit of rum ?
A little French song ?
Are men of great courage
Those who will go with us
They will not fear the blows
Nor shipwrecks,
Nor the boarding
Of the peril will be jealous
All those who will leave with us
Okay, I’m a long way from the sweetness of the Waltz – do you manage to always be sweet and gentle? As far as I’m concerned, I’m working on my softness – and my delicacy.
Yes – I’m working on it.
Sea shanty’s are legends, much like troubadours would sing of lore. No not as genteel as a waltz, but to be as respected.

This is fantastic – the poetry is pretty symphonic to the music. Impressive read, appreciate the share, friend.

😀 of course – When I have some time, I play Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – totally Viking – a delicacy I understand: for example, you run headlong into an enemy and crash into a wall: I understand the principle easily 😀 a game “for me” 😀

Oh yea wow, Valhalla is a favourite of mine too! It’s taking a while to finish it, but I do love Eivor’s and Sigurd’s relationship throughout!
