Music
Video Game
Who said that young people do not like orchestral music?
The music that we can call “classical”.
The old grumblers.
Young grumblers too, there is no age for those who spend their whole lives denigrating others.
That’s not true.
Young people also like classical music It’s very possible that they may not know this clearly. On the other hand, not a single game without orchestral music.
So why not bring them to more classical music? Too difficult ?
Fortunately, there are more and more orchestras specialized in video game music!
Arranger: Erika Fukasawa
Orchestra: Symphonic Gamers Orchestra
Gamers are in the room… yes they are.
Please, look in this video the age of the spectators! We do not expect them there.
But it is called:
Game in concert. Thus they all came and all loved!
Not to use the presence of these musicians, these orchestras, composers to weave links between the public and the music, to miss all opportunities!
The games cover all styles, so everything is open:
That’s Mario :
And there would be Cuphead, and ,Skyrim, and and I will fill all the net with the music of the games!
Music composed by Kristofer Maddigan. Produced and Edited by Peter Strauss.
Who thinks this orchestra would not fill the room?
All players know where to find games soundtracks.
These musics have a real value. But it is still not sufficiently recognized or broadcast enough out of games.
On the other hand, it has a real public and great musicians to defend it!

Let’s add a concert scene. It will be full.
Very recently, festival-goers from E3 and the happy Parisians were able to attend a new concert experience, in a real room, with an immersion in the world of Assassin’s Creed : it was the Assassin’s Creed Symphony Performance.
All shows it: the two worlds are getting closer.
Above the remarkable group Pixelophonia (a French band ! ) and all my thanks to Mr Wapojif from Professional Moron, who allowed me not to forget them.
So, for Christmas holidays, giving at least one “video game” concert is essential !

Great post! I guess, classic music is not old and outdated. It is the way of marking that has to appeal to a younger audience. As simple as that. 😊
Happy Holidays!

😀 Thanks ! Don’t worry, my English is too bad for me to make remarks to others. For me, the most important thing is to understand and be understood – pretty much. 😀

The oversight is fixed, thank you.
OK, I chose a sample from one of my favourite games, and here’s a little souvenir from Donkey Kong – Nintendo 64 – a world of happiness. 🙂

Nice one! They’re my favourite out of all the orchestras I’ve researched. Pixelophonia has a real joyous quality to it. Innit. And yeah, love the Donkey Kong Country SNES trilogy. Hope all three make it to the Switch pronto.
