The Original Outstanding Award

I’m a human being, you know – and a girl. Which means that, like everyone else, I have my big moments of doubt, loneliness, wanting to drop everything and stop fighting windmills – and on top of that, being a girl, I add to that the great moments of : “nobody loves me” and “but how ugly am I!“.

Why am I telling you this?

Because, when you embark on a monumental thing like Altair – moments of doubt are frequent – the urge to give up is even more frequent. And since I’ve managed to get some of my comrades into the adventure – and I’m trying to keep them motivated – every time I’ve said to myself, very seriously: ok, I’m quitting – every time something has happened that has made me smile again and want to continue.
This year, as all our hopes for progress have been dashed by the pandemic, it’s really a bit tough. For the past few weeks, I have been in “the bridge of faith” – and I live in France, the least religious country in the world.

So, when I meet a nice guy like Anotida Viazhero who calls me up and says, “How did I almost miss this article?” – …it’s bound to cheer me up.
And when this nice guy does me the extreme honour of identifying us for this wonderful award – well, I went back for a few laps.

I don’t know if you know Anotida : he just started writing here. Soon to be a doctor and future great writer, that’s what I can say about him – because the few articles he has put online show his deep and real humanity. Go and see, he’s worth it!

This award was invented by a young man (if I understood everything), whose blog is called Colton Beckwith RPC and that I went to see : it’s a really nice site, for such a young man. It’s a joy to see that no, young people aren’t pitiful, on the contrary – and that yes, humanity will continue with good people – even if they don’t have the same habits as us, old people.

There’s a game for these awards (no, the first one who thinks that’s what attracts me the most… maybe rightly so). It’s about answering questions.
Let’s do it.

What is your ideal holiday destination? : All the places in the world I don’t know. So I would never have finished that dream.
For how long have you been writing? for almost … a lot of years….
Who is your biggest inspiration, and why?  : Curiosity is not a person – but that’s what keeps me going.
What would you eat for your last meal?  : wow … we’re in France. Food is a real topic here. Summer salad with parmesan shavings, fresh basil, real olive oil to accompany real skewers made with love – and then of course, the local peaches – the grapes are just starting to taste good, and all you have to do is raise your hand for an extra dessert. So that means a last meal in the summer, with friends and loved ones.
Are you a cat person, a dog person, or neither? : I don’t know – I love cats, because … well it’s my past. I love dogs – birds … I love the ones whose eyes I’ve crossed.
If you could fix one thing about the world, what would it be?  if I could take away the fear of each other… but I can’t.
Have you ever/do you plan to publish a book? If so, give details: yes yes, no – it’s not a goal.

As you have read me so far, whether you are acquainted with me or not, if these questions ever amuse you, please take them – and this award – with you.

And a thousand and thousand thanks again for your attention, Anotida, which did a lot to boost my morale, which was in the process of breaking down badly!

❤ ❤ ❤

With that, the next day, another friend, Atul, gave me another one. So I told myself that I was going to stop complaining about myself, and since some people are interested, this Altair project, at least when I write it, well… I write it.

Besides, there are so many people here who support me patiently and encourage me all the time! So I stop my little comedies and I work yes yes.

Tomorrow, as I’m not going to flood you over two days, I’m going to propose some questions and a few names for the two awards that I’ve received one after the other – and which I was so pleased about
