The Last of us

Programming / Music – video game link

What’s the use of music and shows?
No use at all.
Just to be less alone in sadness or in joy.

Here is a little concert by Mr. Gustavo Santaolalla, who composed the music for the video game The Last of us – edited by Naughty Dog for Sony in 2013 – I’ve already talked about it – I’m starting to say the same thing – I know.
Here’s how it was staged for E3.

It’s well done, isn’t it? In fact, everything I’m saying already exists, but in pieces. Altair is like putting the puzzle back in order and gluing the pieces together.

    1. Yes, you’re right – music is necessary ! And the other arts too ! I was annoyed to hear again that artists are useless – the speeches are ugly in France at the moment, really it’s not going too well – mentally – at all in my country. Thank you so much for your thoughts – Barbara

      1. It’s not much better here in the US, funding for the arts always being cut. The previous squatter in the White House was an uncouth idiot. Same goes for the school system, arts are always on the bottom rung of the latter. Yet sports as long as their male dominate (football, baseball, wrestling etc) get most of the money, it’s infuriating. Well sorry for the mini rant. Have a good day. ~Elle

    1. 🙂 You’re so right – it’s not me who’s going to tell you the opposite – but in France, at the moment, all we hear from the world of artists is that they’re not people who have an essential activity. And frankly, I’m getting tired of that !
