Minimal Maximal

Dance

Two pieces, two musics, two choreographers and one company to work on a complex theme: what to do with music when it is minimalist and when you are a choreographer?

This gives a work in two parts, which proves that contemporary dance, when it is splendid, does not deny any dance but knows how to use all the techniques at its disposal. How to treat the fall, the end, the fall? it is Fall, choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. How to treat the flow of energy, positive and destructive, in a group? This is Paron, choreographed by Andonis Foniadakis.

It is beautiful, strange, a little sad.

The Grand Théâtre de Genève regularly produces incredible ballets – as much to follow as the Royal Ballet.
